Check three numbers in your car handbook or V5C: the maximum braked towing limit, the kerb weight and the maximum noseweight of the towbar. The caravan’s MTPLM (maximum technically permissible laden mass) must be below the braked towing limit, and as a guide should be no more than 85% of the car’s kerb weight for stable towing. Send us your car details and we’ll check any caravan for you.

MIRO (mass in running order) is what the caravan weighs as it leaves the factory. MTPLM is the most it may legally weigh fully loaded. The difference is your payload — everything you put in it, including gas bottles, leisure battery, awning and luggage. Many new caravans can have their MTPLM upgraded on paper by the manufacturer.

Yes. Every used tourer is prepared with a habitation check covering gas, electrics, water, damp, ventilation, alarms and running gear before handover, and you get a full demonstration of how everything works.

Airstream units are American-built and imported. Specifications are listed in imperial (lbs, gallons) as supplied by the manufacturer. We’ll confirm UK conversion and road-use details, delivery lead time and the final landed price with you before you order.

Match the inside height to your tallest horse — as a rule of thumb, allow at least 7ft (around 21 hands) for horses up to 16.2hh. A two-horse trailer suits most owners; three- and four-horse models need a heavier tow vehicle. Every listing shows box length, inside height and weights.

Since 16 December 2021 a full car licence lets you tow trailers up to 3,500 kg MAM. You still need a tow vehicle rated to tow the trailer’s gross weight fully loaded with horses and tack. Most two-horse trailers need a 4x4 or pick-up with a 3,000–3,500 kg braked towing limit.

Floor condition, tyre pressures and tread, wheel nuts, lights and indicators, breakaway cable, jockey wheel and ramp springs. Check the floor thoroughly on any horse trailer at least once a year by lifting the mats.

Any trailer with a gross weight over 750 kg must have brakes. Unbraked trailers (up to 750 kg gross) are lighter and simpler, but your car’s unbraked towing limit is often only 600–750 kg. If you will carry heavy loads such as garden waste, logs or a quad bike, a braked trailer gives far more capacity.

Box trailers are fully enclosed and lockable, ideal for tools, market stalls and moving house. Cage and mesh-sided trailers are open and light, best for bulky garden waste and tip runs. High-side and drop-panel trailers suit loose materials. Ramp trailers are built for mowers, quads and motorbikes.

New road trailers we supply are type approved to UK standards where required and come with a certificate of conformity. Farm and off-road trailers (such as ATV tipping trailers) are designed for private land use and are listed as such.

A suitable licence (a full car licence covers trailers up to 3,500 kg MAM), a towbar with the correct 7-pin or 13-pin electrics, a number plate matching the tow vehicle, and working lights. The combined load must stay within the vehicle and trailer weight limits.

A 10ft container suits garden or small-business storage. A 20ft holds the contents of a two- to three-bedroom house or a site tool store. A 40ft doubles that. High-cube units add an extra foot of height, which is useful for conversions, racking and insulation.

Temporary storage often doesn’t need permission, but permanent placement, conversions, cabins used as offices or accommodation, and sites in conservation areas usually do. Check with your local planning authority before delivery. We can supply dimensions and specification sheets for your application.

Either on a HIAB crane lorry, which lifts it into position, or a tilt-bed, which slides it off. You need firm, level ground, lorry access on a hard surface, and no overhead cables in the lifting area. Tell us about any access restrictions when you order.

Yes. Modified units include insulated and refrigerated containers, site offices, welfare units, workshops and container pools. Many can be further specified with extra doors, windows, lighting and shelving — ask for a quote.

UK bank transfer (Faster Payments or CHAPS), debit and credit cards, and Apple Pay or Google Pay via a secure payment link. Finance is available on request for qualifying purchases, and part exchange is considered on caravans and trailers.

Yes, prices shown include VAT where it applies. Some used caravans and trailers are sold under the VAT margin scheme, where VAT is not shown separately. Business customers can request a VAT invoice.

Delivery is quoted by postcode and confirmed before you pay. We cover mainland England, Wales and Scotland; the Highlands, islands and Northern Ireland are quoted separately. Collection by appointment is free.

Yes, viewings are by appointment Monday to Friday 8:30am–5:30pm and Saturday 9am–1pm. If you can’t visit, we’re happy to walk round the unit with you on a video call.

You can cancel any order for a full refund before it is dispatched or collected. If you bought online or by phone without visiting us, the Consumer Contracts Regulations also give you 14 days from delivery to cancel. Made-to-order and personalised units are excluded.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you can reject faulty goods for a full refund within 30 days. After that we’ll repair or replace, and if that doesn’t fix it you can ask for a refund or price reduction. New units also carry the manufacturer’s warranty.

Refunds are paid to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods or agreeing a cancellation.
